Influence Others
start with yourself and stay true to yourself
Goal of the workshop
You have undoubtedly had to deal with unpleasant behavior by others: co-workers, customers, people on the street, and... maybe even yourself. This can lead you into recurrent patterns which you would like to break through.
This workshop offers clear possibilities for this, which can be applied immediately.
There is no point in trying to learn gimmicks that don’t work for you, which is why the three key concepts of the workshop are:
- authentic;
- influential;
- free from feelings of guilt.
The motto is: Influence others, start with yourself and remain true to yourself!
For whom is the workshop intended?
The workshop is particularly suitable for people who want to expand their ‘circle of influence’:
- anyone who wants to have more influence at work, also without ‘being the boss’;
- anyone who wants to break free from deadlocked patterns with others;
- managers who want to expand their style of leadership.
Maximum number of participants: 12
Approach of the workshop
After a brief introduction (which is already an informative opportunity), we will test the preferred styles of all participants (not mandatory!). Following a brief, light-hearted explanation of the theory, we will examine familiar, real-life interactions on the shop floor from various angles in a number of ways. Each participant can help find creative alternatives to the familiar, sometimes well-trodden paths. We will continue to adapt creatively so that nothing becomes cliché, and each situation is new. Once you have identified the recurring patterns, you can easily learn to deal with difficult situations differently.
We will use suitable methods, so no role play just for the sake of it.
This workshop does not involve any heavy, difficult situations, but is about giving yourself a serious chance to improve your skills in dealing with your environment.
